Content Creator + social media manager

Location: Calgary, AB (Remote-Friendly, Must Be Local to Calgary)
Position: Part-Time OR Full-Time

We’re looking for a talented and visionary Content Creator with expertise in both photography and videography to join our team. Our ideal candidate has social media management experience, a sharp visual eye, and a strong storytelling instinct. This role calls for creativity, adaptability, and a passion for pushing boundaries—someone who doesn’t just keep up with trends, but sets them.

Responsibilities:

  • Support in creating and managing clients’ monthly social media content calendar

  • Social content production

    • We’re looking for someone who can develop original content across a wide range of visual styles, tailored to each brand’s unique identity. This role requires creative flexibility—if you’re tied to one specific aesthetic, this may not be the right fit. Our content is never one-size-fits-all. You should be just as comfortable crafting bold, edgy visuals as you are creating soft, refined storytelling, depending on the brand’s voice and audience.

  • Weekly photoshoots (averaging about 4-5 a month)

  • Planning, shooting, and passing off high-quality photo and video content to our editing team

  • Some post-production editing - ability to edit content, both photos and videos with industry-leading software

  • Must be a people person who is able to work with clients face-to-face to produce content

  • Engage, interact and post on social media platforms (including Tik Tok, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Threads, etc)

  • Create and manage clients’ monthly social media content calendar

  • Maintain an organized workflow and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

You’re a Fit If You:

  • 3+ years of experience in photography and videography.

  • 3+ years of managing social media (posting, engaging, interacting, staying on top of trends, etc)

  • Proficient in editing software: Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Adobe Lightroom, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe After Effects.

  • Bonus Skills: Graphic design proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Canva

  • Proven experience developing social media content for various platforms 

  • Strong storytelling and visual communication skills.

  • Highly organized with excellent time management abilities.

  • A positive, collaborative attitude and strong presence with people.
